The internal abdominal oblique is shown as number 5 in this picture, however, since our cats are cut with the external abdominal oblique, internal abdominal oblique, and transversus abdominus all as one chunk of muscle and the guts hanging out, I placed the craniodorsal running striations that are seen with the internal abdominal oblique on top of number 3 (the external abdominal oblique). The internal abdominal oblique is sandwiched between the external abdominal oblique and transversus abdominus.
